Because it costs us very little to do — modern tools plus your public menus, photos and listings are enough for a complete first version. The preview lives on our domain. If you don't want it, we simply take it down and part as friends. If you do, it moves to your own domain the same day.
Who owns the website and domain?
You do — outright. The domain is registered in your name from day one, and the site's files are yours. The £25/month covers hosting, security and updates; cancel any time and take everything with you.
